The history of Aston Martin and co Zagato






For a long collaboration between the. Aston Martin. and. Zagato. has led to fruitful work for fifty years, in a series of collectible cars. All Aston Martins were created by Zagato designed in a very limited series.


This feature is provided for each model considered today is not only rare and exclusive, but in addition also a solid investment. The line below shows some of the models in the history of both companies.
DB4 GT Zagato. ( 1960 ). The ancestor of this family of models is the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, which was completely designed, built and decorated in Milan in the 60 -. A total of 19 units created that still exist. Each of them has a listing on the collector's market at least $ 6 million.

V8 Vantage Zagato. (1985),. V8 Volante Zagato. ( 1986 ). Introduced in the early 80 - ies, after the oil crisis. when the general mood of the recession has passed. Aston Martin V8 Vantage was produced only fifty pieces, and the V8 Volante produced only 33. Both models were designed and built by Zagato at the historic factory in Milan.

DB7 Zagato V12. (2002),. DB-AR1. (2003) and.
V12 Zagato. (2011) are the latest models produced in collaboration. All three models are shown in the figure above.
